Lilac and Dusty Rose

Picnik collagePicnik collagePicnik collage

1: Assemble your tools
Nail Polish; Circle Reinforcement stickers; Scissors

2: Choose your colors
Essie "lilacism" for the base; Sinful Colors "Vacation Time" on top.

3: Paint nails one shade of base color. Let dry completely. I let mine dry for one whole day. A few hours should do, though.

4: Cut circle stickers in halves.

5: Affix circle stickers onto nails. Make sure you press them down completely.

6: Paint on the second layer of nail polish, careful to only paint the second layer outside of the circle stickers.

I love pink and purple together. But doesn't dusty rose and lilac sound more posh?

  5. Eeee! Love it, Laura! I've been meaning to try this out -- partly just so I can use notebook re-inforcers again having not picked one up since 7th grade or so (ooo I feel creaky and ancient). I've also been on the look out for less toxic nail polishes (this whole getting healthy thing is kicking my wallet's booty) -- do you have any brands you like?

  6. Pretty! I haven't tried one of these half-moon mani's yet. I have tons of those little circle stickers, though (the label kind, but they'll work as well as the reinforcers) Maybe that will be my plan tonight if I don't go out.
