I got back from my super short trip to Chicago yesterday, and I'm still feeling a bit drained from it all. I've only managed to upload these photos up which is what I wore during the drive to the Windy City. When I know I'll be stuck in a car for quite a while, I like to wear things that are extremely comfortable and wrinkle-resistant since I tend to squirm quite a lot and then fall asleep when I get tired of squirming.

I'll be catching up with your blogs today! I feel like I whittled my weekend away!

Happy Monday!

  15. I like that silk shirt a lot! I tend to skip scarves while driving, for some reason they make me not able to turn my head. My car is already full of blind spots, so I don't need any help.

  19. Great silk shirt, it's such a polished piece that can go from day to night! I love comfy but cute clothes for the car as I too get fidgety.

Just realized I have the same shoes as you from the Scarfed post!

  21. Laura, you look comfy and chic! Win win! I like to travel in comfortable and wrinkle free clothes when I travel as well. There's nothing worse than wearing clothes that pinch or that wrinkle with every move you make. Glad you're back! :)

  37. "I tend to squirm quite a lot and then fall asleep when I get tired of squirming." Haha. Yes! I like how you knotted your (very pretty!) silk top over your t-shirt. It gives it a comfy robe quality without, er, being a comfy robe :)
