I'm a bit sad that since I've been working so much, I haven't had the time to clean out my yard and start my vegetable garden. My wee plot is currently overran by weeds and tall grass, and I am quite certain that my neighbors are hating me at the moment for leaving my yard in such disarray. In fact, I just saw them sprinkling weed killer on their side of the fence. Total guilt. So I went and made some chocolate chip cookies. And I ate 2 large ones. Then I felt SO. MUCH. BETTER.

  3. Cookies certainly do make everything better don't they?! I can't wait to get a yard, with or without weeds would just be lovely to have our own little space to sit outside with a cuppa tea and a good book.

  5. We've been in the same boat of not having much time to tend to our yard yet! My husband did mow the front yard at least so the neighbors wouldn't complain too much. Our backyard however is a field and yeah...needs a lot of work!

Loving the red details in this outfit! The shoes and the belt are a nice touch! And I love that floral top!

I want to plant some veggies this year too, but I have to do it in containers as I have no space for a garden.

  16. Lol, I was ready for you to say you brought them to the neighbors and then you at them. The story is better that way, though, because I would do the same thing.

  27. Yes! Chocchip cookies, as they say here (they cutsify/shorten everything -- everything gets a nick name), cure all! I always had grand visions of veg patches when we lived in Atlanta, and then the south (aka kudzu) had its way and I gave up. I went for Krispy Kremes instead, just cuz they were closer.
p.s. Your hair looks gorgeous in these photos (as per usual) -- seriously, does Pantene know about you?
