So this is going to sound ridic, but I made this skirt MONTHS ago and am only wearing it now. It just sat in my closet being sad, which kinda makes ME sad. But I couldn't be mopey for long. I mean, look at those adorable pandas!

In case you didn't know, I used to have a small obsession with panda bears. In high school, I filled my room with panda paraphernalia. I had stuffed animals, figurines, backpacks, tons of stickers... After a while, the obsession waned, but I still can't resist an adorable panda print!

Speaking of adorable, I am totally smitten with the  little cherry necklace that I won from Zoe's giveaway. It looks so deliciously cute and totally inspires me to make magic in the kitchen. I made my first roll cake ever and filled it with homemade jam. Top that baby with some freshly whipped cream and om nom nom.

Ok seriously...How did you make that skirt..W/the elastic waistband attached outside? Meh...I need to practice. SO much fabric and too much of a wuss to cut it and just start sewing.

But, I had a similar obsession with cows when I was younger. And I'm really not sure I would wear a cow skirt these days... I probably would, but maybe not.

  27. I adore this skirt, I wish I had your sewing skills. It's not hard to imagine why someone would have a panda obsession, they are such adorable creatures. This is the most perfect striped tee, for some reason it is hard to find a great striped t-shirt. I adoooooooooore the cherry necklace, I love anything cherry. Yum at the roll cake, send some my way :P
