I married the right man

Earlier today, I received some very sad news: my local carrier of Sanrio supplies is going out of business. I stopped by the small shop to stock up on paper goods and whatever cute knick knacks I could find, but I didn't find any of the new designs in stock, which led me to ask the shopkeeper if their shipment had been delayed. But it wasn't. BOOO.

Annoyed, more than anything, I texted my husband the news, and within five minutes he called me back with sincere worry in his voice. "Are you ok?" he asked me, "Tell me what you need." He apparently thinks I take Hello Kitty very seriously. What an amazing man.

Love your dress as a skirt, that's one of my favorite things to do, gives you so many more options for a dress!

  36. I saw all the black and I just started clapping. I feel almost like I'm "goth" now because of my love for all black clothing. I love throwing in a dash of color or having a statement piece with it but it's feeling very lonely right now with so many other people wearing so many brights. You're definitely rocking it! I'm so sorry about the Sanrio. Seriously. That sucks. I'm not even kidding. I had no idea and now I'm a little bummed. Your husband is very sweet for being so supportive. ;) And he's making mine look bad. :D

  37. Gah, I feel your pain. In my area we had a Sanrio store in the local mall for a few years and then it closed out of nowhere, I'm pretty sure I muttered "this is bullshit" everytime I walked past the store, now it's some tacky cell phone accessory store.... UGH! This was years ago and I'm still mad about it but you're husband sounds like such a gem, my boyfriend talks about how much he misses a now closed record store all the time and I feel his pain, why don't more people shop at awesome places? Whyyyy consumer gods, whyy? Have you been to the giant Sanrio store in NYC? I almost died there, I wanted everything.
