One last huzzah for Fall meant a trip to the pumpkin and apple orchard. I don't like going during its busiest time of the year because the place is flocked with too many people and is too hot for my liking anyway. This particular orchard had the whole "Wizard of Oz" theme going on, complete with the Flying Monkey Cafe where my husband and I had lunch. And by lunch I mean all things yellow and laden in butter. Not pleasant.

Another thing that's not pleasant? That height chart that I'm convinced is a lie. Last time I checked (in my personal & official height chart) I was at least! an inch over the 5 feet marker. According to that farce of an apple ruler, I don't even measure up to 5 feet. The gall!

  3. I think that measuring stick is in wrong - it's outrageous! Also, you are rocking that hat - it looks super cute on you.

  8. Haha, I was totally stuck on that height chart before I read the bottom of your post. I was like... I swear she said she's over 5 feet tall, Laura wouldn't lie to me. Those things are crazy, I would probably be 3 feet tall according to that thing.

  11. How fun!! The last time I went to the dr, I was told I had grown an inch! I thought I was 5'6, but I must have had a growth spurt in the past 4 years because I am most definitely 5'7!

  14. What fun photos! I'm sure that apple is a lying:)

  15. First off, that apple height thingy? It's totally blatantly not flush on the ground so it HAS to be lying. LIES I TELL YA! (Us shorties have to stick together). The little odd mushroom guys are soooo cute. I love that you're having fun with your wardrobe. You always keep it interesting. I often slip into very boring outfits which is kind of disappointing. Keep up the inspiration.

  23. I love the yellow brick road but the butter laden things are a bit yuck when its over used. (Though I've experienced lately that no one knows how to use it correctly to keep certain foods moist)

  24. Eeeeee!!! Cath and I are such huge Oz fans (and have been since the very impressionable age of 18 months). I would have to wear my red sparkly shoes to that farm regardless of how impractical. But speaking of farm outfits, you look tres chic and cute AND that apple is a big fat liar!

  25. That hat! Those pins! Anddd, I'm kinda jealous you went to an orchard so late in the season, but it looks like much fun was had! :)
