All these photos were taken from my phone, so excuse the graininess. Last weekend, I did my first ever show, and this is my table display. If you follow me on Instagram, you'll have already seen this, but I've included a couple of other close-up shots below. I wanted something simple but also really fun, and I had been toying around with "tea party" or "whimsical picnic" as a theme, thus the tiered platters and serving trays used as display fixtures.
Me, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed at 6:30 in the morning. I was up at 4:00 am, worrying over everything, and so I started tinkering with my blog layout to calm my nerves. (Thus, the new look) I was exhausted after the show, and I literally fell into bed as soon as I got home.
It's gotten cold again, and the ivy covering these walls haven't sprouted yet. I thought it looked pretty and eerie at the same time.
Even though the weather is still brisk, the sun has been almost always out, tempting me to go on walks in the park. There is a small river than runs right through the middle of the park, and it's nice to take a break and watch the water and all the geese and duckies that swim in it.
