It's funny how I now take a lot more time putting myself together. When I had colored hair, I thought that my hair took care of me being "accessorized." It's taken a while to get me back to styling my hair and wearing makeup, but I'm glad to be playing with my neglected cosmetics again. I've rediscovered the joys of changing up my look with a brushstroke here and a swipe of lipcolor there.
My makeup drawer has been so neglected that I actually found a couple of lipsticks that smelled a bit off. I know that sounds awful, but at least I caught it before putting them on my lips! I know cosmetics have expiration dates, but I'm rubbish at keeping track of mine. How do you keep track?
After I found those smelly lippies, I promptly sniffed all my other makeup. I ended up culling my collection to a more manageable size, getting rid of a lot of the lower quality stuff I barely used anyway. Because I've thrown out a lot, that means I can start getting some new ones to try out, right? Right?
