The New Do

On Monday, I finally relented and got a haircut. I got 2.5 inches lopped off the length and a trim on the layers especially on my face. And though I'm glad that my hair is already feeling much healthier and more manageable to style, I just haven't gotten used to all the layers yet.
You can see from this photo that the layers look really blunt-- something else I'm not used to-- and I think they make the shape of my hair super fluffy and dated, which is why I've been curling it lately. I dunno. Maybe it's just that I need more time to acclimate to it? I'm giving myself a couple weeks to decide whether or not to get it fixed.
Till then, this is what I think of my new do.

  3. You are funny! I think it looks amazing! I wish my hair was as thick and lovely as yours. Mine is just thin and straggly (and grey), LOL!

  5. New hair is always a challenge. I'm still figuring out how to fix my hair and I got it cut at least a month ago. You'll find out what works!

  10. I think the new cut is very flattering! I love the curls or the way that is blends in. I think I am the same way when I get haircuts. I tend to hate or not really like the first 3 days then I get used to it, ha.

Any who this looks good on you :) I think you should keep it

  14. I love it! I need to get my hair layered. I usually only allow myself to get my hair cut once a year though and I did it a couple months ago.

  15. Hmm what does it look like straight? Maybe you could make it super textured and rocker-chic. That could be fun!

I haven't really worn my hair straight in so long that I always have it cut to be styled curly, haha. I'm having my hair cut next week... so glad! My ends are really really dry.

  18. I think it's a flattering cut and I can understand how the layers might take some getting used to. They are fairly thick layers. You know how much I love your hair so I have to say, you can quite happily rock the Charlie's Angels vibe. ;)
