Eerie inspiration

I love shops that decorate seasonally, but do so tastefully. This little vintage store we stumbled by had an eerily gorgeous display set up, and though it was already closed by the time we got there, I spent quite a while ogling at the merchandise behind the glass. This window has been on my mind so much that it actually inspired me to change up the look of the old blog a bit. I loved the look of shiny gold against a dark teal wood frames, and the spiderwebs and the font of the board had a beautiful scalloped edge to them that I wanted to incorporate in here too. After days of sketching and tweaking, here it is!

  9. I love it! While I am not -totally- anti-"new" Halloween décor, I do still prefer things like the display you found because it's more realistic. I am digging how you made your blog subtly match. I probably should change mine to be less summery, but it took me long enough to figure out how to get it like it is, I'm scared to change it, lol
