Food Truckin'

I went a food truckin' again a few days ago and Italian was on my mind. I got some "toasted" ravioli (they're really deep fried) and those balls are orbs of fried, cheesy goodness drenched in marinara and parmesan. B was in the mood for Mexican, thus, tamales. He even got one for dessert (the pink one) which was cake-y and had raisins in it. I've never been a beer person, but it's slowly growing on me. And I'm getting fonder and fonder of the stuffs that Schlafly brews.

  4. We had Schafly beer the last time we were in St. Louis and I thought it was pretty good too! I want to check out their taproom when we come down next summer to visit relatives again. I've had toasted ravioli before too - it is crazy good!

  5. It all looks delicious! I've only ever liked toasted/fried ravioli at one place before and it was, of all places, the 99 Restaurant. It's been years since I have gone, though, because I tend not to go to chain places like that.

  6. Mmm, toasted ravioli sounds great! Different types of beer have been growing on me, too, though I'm still more of a wine person.

  8. I love food trucks. There is a Food Truck Festival tonight. If we didn't have to pay so much to get in and find parking, I'd be there. It's just a bit much to pay before you start paying for food.

  17. Laura!! It's been too long, my friend! I have missed dropping by your wee place. I'm sorry for my absence but it just seems like I can't catch up with all I have to do. Sigh. In any case, may I say you are looking absolutely stunning? I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this look! I just had to pin it! :) You look the very essence of chic, lady! Everything about this outfit is kick ass, everything! You have never looked better. I mean it! :)

  18. Ooo I love going food trunkin' back in Atlanta, Laura! Edinburgh doesn't have food trucks. Instead vendors turn old police boxes (yeah, like Dr. Who!) into mini kitchens. My favorite is a Brazilian guy who does gluten free crepes and Brazilian stews.
You are making me want to do the black and white, pop of red thing with your outfit. Too good. And that bracelet is amazing!
Hope you are having a lovely weekend! xx Lar

  20. You have such great hair. You know I don't think I've ever tried a tamale, it's funny too because my fiance and I were just talking about them yesterday. Mmm, orbs of fried cheesy goodness, come to meeee.

I'm not a big beer fan myself but I do like raspberry beer :)
