Cozy festivities

Just a few snapshots of a cozy, relaxing, festive weekend.
I am pretty rubbish at knitting, so I cheated a bit and didn't show the uneven edges on this scarf. I'm hoping I finish this before the winter ends so, you know, I can actually wear it.
Close up shots of my tree so you can see my favorite ornaments: the cutest fox couple!
And the tree lit at night.
And of course, sleepy kitties.

  2. Don't you just love kitties when they try and hide their face behind their tails and paws?! Just adorable! Good luck in finishing your scarf - me and knitting don't get on very well either!

  4. You're ace compared to me with knitting. That right there is more than I've ever been able to do. I just can't seem to come to grips with it no matter how hard I try. I've had 2 ppl try to teach me, watched an endless amount of vid's on youtube...it's just a hopeless case really. Good luck with it! Snuggle in tight with your lovely kitties and happy tree. ;)

  7. I wish I had more patience with knitting! Crochet is just so much quicker but really uses up a LOT of yarn! And YES! I finally installed DISQUS. :)

  8. I tried hand knitting last year, it took a bit to love it, but I do enjoy it, I am just used to machine knitting, which is my favourite. Have a great Christmas! :-) /Madison

  11. aw the fox ornaments are completely adorable! as are the kitties. id like to learn how to knit *correctly*. i think i hold things wrong and it takes freaking forever. crocheting for me has a faster, more uniform end result

  12. I'm the same way with crocheting. I totally SUCK at knitting, I cannot mince my words. I wish I was better because knitted stuff looks so much more refined than crochet stuff. But I'm also impatient, so I end up crocheting a lot ;)
