Red, red shoes

I didn't quite like the rest of this outfit (or how weirdly puffer fish-like my face looked in these pictures. Trust me), but I wanted to show ya'llz these kicks. What is it with my (slight) obsession with red shoes these days? No clue. But how could I honestly resist these? I actually imagined wearing these with some breeches or a tailored jodhpur, but since I own neither of those, socks and tights will have to do until I find it in my heart to incorporate more leg-splitting garments in my wardrobe.

I hope that you're all looking forward to the weekend as much as I am. I'm hoping the weather will be cooperative enough for me to be able to do something outdoors. Fingers crossed a billion times. To all my friends in the Northeast, keep warm and stay safe!

  2. But… I love puffer fish. haha. I called out of work today because I have PTO time and I can, but also my car has been cranky lately and I didn't want to risk it being cranky in the snow. It's going to the car doctor on Monday and hopefully won't cost a bajillion dollars to fix.

  9. Oh dude, I hope that you're not too stuck and that all the snow gets plowed quickly so you can get some snacks. Or that you already have snacks.

  13. Boo! That's too bad. I'm picky with my reds too, and haven't found the perfect red pump for me (yet) but for casual wear, I have a couple of darker red pairs . Hope you find a pair soon!

  14. Aww, I appreciate you thinking of me! It wasn't that bad a storm, though. Maybe 5 inches and it keeps blowing around. We're already all dug out, though, and ready for whatever adventures tomorrow brings!

  17. You FOUND them!! Ever since you gushed about my patent pair I was hoping you'd find something to call you own. The plaid running through them is super cool. I was just reading that a big cold mass is supposed to sweep down through Canada and settle over the Midwest in the next few days (is St L considered Midwest). Bundle up and stay warm!!

  18. So cute! I hate when I find out I look like a puffer fish in photos. The weird thing is, I'm not even kidding a little bit. I feel like a normal human being while they're being taken and then BAM - I'm puffer fish lady. So disappointing. The shoes with jodhopurs would be fab. I'd like a pair of jodhopurs myself but I can't really afford them right now. I've been making due with leggings and thigh high leg warmers. Very 80's no? :D But I'm managing to stay warm and still feel cute.
