So. It's been a little over a month since I switched to Disqus, and I thought I'd blog about how that's been working out for me. Like I mentioned before, I switched from the Blogger commenting system to Disqus because after a couple years of blogging, I really am more interested in conversing with fellow bloggers/readers instead of just reading/collecting comments. From what I could tell, Disqus offered a better notification and response system in comparison to Blogger, and I also liked that people had to leave their email/name in order to leave comments. I'm all for freedom of speech, but hey, let's all be nice too, you know?
One month later, and I am still loving Disqus. I love that I can respond to comments from my email and keep conversations going without having to check my blog to see if someone has responded. I know that some readers have had problems leaving comments on Disqus, but I think if you signed up for a free account, and logged into that before commenting, it shouldn't be a problem. At least that's how I solved my own commenting problems from a while back. So yeah, I don't see myself reverting to the old commenting system or switching to a new one just yet.
On to this cat dress that seems to be getting a lot of limelight in the blog. (1, 2, 3) It's getting really hard for me not to wear this dress everyday. And I probably would do it if I wasn't seen by the same people everyday. I think this winter is taking a toll on my outfit planning. Most days, I wake up wishing it was just a little bit sunnier, and I feel like the only remedy for that is wearing this dress of happy prints. Clearly, I need more animal prints in my closet.
