An experiment

top: Marshalls
dress worn as skirt: GAP (old)
cuff: vintage
necklace: Forever 21

This was my experiment in mixing billowy top + billowy bottom. Though the outfit didn't come out as I had in mind (Next time, I'd stick with a fitted  bottom), it was still comfy as heck, even in the sticky, humid heat of the day.

  1. I bet it would be comfy as hell. Sometimes and out-of-the-box proportion is worth it for that!

  4. I think it could work with a belt, maybe? A thick one. But I still like the colors and sometimes comfort must take precedence!

  7. Looks super comfortable and I really like the color of your top! That black dress worn as a skirt has a very witch-y vibe too!

  8. You accessorized this just right so it's cute and comfy looking. I can't tell, is the top cropped or tucked in? Either way it falls really nicely.

  11. Yeah-- in my head, this crop top would actually look "cropped" but my torso is so short :( Whatev. At least I was comfy!

  13. You know what I'm realizing? That I really NEED a bright/bold lip color. I usually wear nude/toned down tones when I do a bolder eye, but that doesn't look right to me in photos. So yeah, I think you're right-- I just should always wear bold/bright/deep lippies!

  14. It's cropped, but it doesn't look it because my torso is Liliputian :(

  16. I love Mac lippies so forgive me if I sound like an advert for them. I'd love to see you try shades like their: "all out gorgeous" (a deep warm red), "viva glam" (a nice blue based red), or "hearts aflame" (a really deep brick red). At least, for this top I mean. It'd be interesting to see how they worked with your complexion and played off the top.

  17. Haha, no way. You are perfectly portioned. If you reaaaaly want more torso, though, you can have some of mine. Be warned it's all belly fat, though ;P
