Blur

I'll be 100% honest: I haven't taken new outfit photos in about 2 weeks. Since starting my new job, my mornings (when I take all my pictures) have drastically altered, and things go by in a blur most of the time.

Truth is, I've been really stressed out, ya'llz.

I've sat myself down and thought about this problem and have come to the conclusion that part of the stress comes from my personality. I'm a sort of overachieving perfectionist who becomes overcautious at times so as to prevent redo's or mistakes. I'm trying to, slowly, learn how to chill and be patient. And not to overindulge in too many jalapeno cheddar Cheetos.

  1. I hope the stress eases for you - I had a pretty bad bout of work induced stress last month and it just drove me bonkers/made me feel like crap.

  2. I can relate, since I fall into the perfectionist category myself. I'm constantly trying to learn to chill and be patient, and to stop overindulging in cheese, popcorn and my other stress vices. I hope the stress subsides for you soon!

  3. Hopefully your weekends can be good breathers! I tend to get fixated on problems sometimes too - especially work related ones - but right now this period of unemployment is killing me. And I'm stressing about THAT, so really, it's all the same, LOL. Except no cash flow!

  4. I'm the same Laura. I'm high strung. REALLY high strung. But you know, I seem to be finally calming down in my old age. But I still get stressed easily when something isn't working out. Tea. Chamomile tea dude.

  8. I've definitely been living for the weekends lately. As for the unemployment, I definitely know the feeling. It gets really frustrating, for sure, but it's also a great time to explore new hobbies! :)

  11. Yes, sometimes work just sucks all of out time. But hopefully you will get a reprieve soon, and be able to have time for other things that you enjoy. Jalapeno Cheetos? Where have I been? I need to indulge and try that soon, hehe!

  12. I was just having a conversation the other day with someone very much like this. They said something to me like "Whatever you do, don't ever get a competition horse. They'll drive you insane. They're high strung, demanding, temperamental, and always, always getting injured or sick." I looked at them, narrowed my eyes and replied, "You're talking about me aren't you?" All kidding aside, be good to yourself. There's only one you.
