I wish for a battle elk

This past weekend was full of mini adventures and unexpected finds. B and I set out to finish holiday  mail errands, and despite the long queue at the post office, we were in and out in under 15 minutes! After a pathetic attempt at finding a restaurant that promised yummy food, we stumbled upon an AMAZING hole in the wall Korean restaurant that  we will be returning to soon. A delicious feast of a meal later, B and I saw "The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies," and while I was rather disappointed at what rabbles were deemed "armies," the abundance of clunk and cheese, and some horrifying light works, I did enjoy the fight scenes a lot. AND the battle animals! I have decided that it is one of my life goals to get a battle elk. Or a battle ram. Or even a battle pig.

  3. Ugh, I'm kind of disappointed in general by The Hobbit movies. They're supposed to be about Bilbo, damnit, not the f*cking dwarves! NOBODY CARES ABOUT THORIN.

ANYWAY. You look adorable! I LOVE that dress! It looks so comfy and the coloring is so cute.

  4. I'm down for a battle elk and or pig! I've been pretty disappointed with the Hobbit movies. Part of it is probably that I was never a big fan of the book (in contrast to LoTR and the Silmarillion...which I can't get enough of!). But I'm sure I'll still be seeing it over my holiday work break.

  9. I am disappointed too! I am not a fan of that particular book (i'm more of a LotR fan) and I feel like they drew out whatever they could to make 3 movies!

  10. I agree! The Hobbit book for me was just way too kiddish. I think this 3rd Hobbit movie (the battles, at least) make it the best of the Hobbit trilogy in my opinion. Have a great break ahead!

  14. I love this whole outfit from head to toe. It looks so cuddly and snugglerific. Gaaah. Now I wish I had an outfit that I could wear like that for the Christmas family thingy at my in-laws. No waistband, a Christmas meal, AND looking cute?? hellz to the yeah :D. Korean you say? Hmmmm, I'm so curious. It made my tummy rumble hehehehe. What did you have? I went to a Japanese restaurant the other day and I was completely flumoxed. It was good but not like any Japanese food I'd ever had before. I'm not sure I'd go back.
